Formerly known as Moreton Street Bakery/Cafe. We were known for Specializing in the Traditional Organic Artisan Sourdough Breads and Fresh Organic Foods and Coffee.
We have since Re-branded ourselves as Salty Squid Cafe & Takeaway. We are still focused on providing a Cafe that serves Fine Hearty Homemade Foods, Great Artisan Organic Coffee's using fresh local produce including the local seafood that Hervey Bay and Queensland has to offer. With something for everyone at an affordable price.
We are still making our "Moreton Street Bakery" treats that includes a variety in Homemade Sausage Rolls, Pies, Quiches, Pasteries, Cakes and Tarts created by using only the finest in quality ingredients, Organic Flours our Homemade Butter Puff Pastry. Whilst our Burgers, Sandwiches and Melts are created on our own well known "Moreton Street Bakery" Sourdough Breads, Panini's and Pastry.
Vegetarian and Gluten free options available.
We are also open for Friday Nights for a Special Dinner with the Chef.
